And you want don’t want to be date yourself with a flash-in-the-pan trend. Here are a few details that will make your invitations hip and ageless.

Custom Postage Stamps

Some styles may come and go, but this is one trend that is here to stay. A custom picture of you and your fiancé on a postage stamp will never go out of style. The Postal Service makes creating your own postage stamp quick and easy. Check out the USPS website, upload your photo and you’re done, it’s that easy. Share your engagement photos or your favorite photo together on a real postage stamp. Don’t forget to affix one to your reply card and you’ll be happy to see it come back to you.

Another great advantage of creating your own stamps is being able to add your own message. You can add up to 20 characters to make a personalized message. This is all you need to send a special message to your guests or announce your wedding date.

Vintage patterns and unusual colors

Long gone are the days of plain white invitations. Many modern brides are looking for a way to make their wedding invitation stand out and show off their own personal style. Bold patterns like damask, toile and floral (think: cherry blossoms) are very in-vogue. Any of these patterns will add a chic style and understated grace to your invitation. If you’re leery about choosing a bold look, consider a translucent pattern and print your invitation over that. Or a velum over-lay with a transparent pattern adds just a smidge of élan. There are many places within the invitation to take make a brave new move and add some flair.

Another great trend includes a splash of big, bright, colors. Choosing a bold hue as an accent color on your invitation adds impact. Pair with a vintage pattern and you’ve made a classic and chic look for a unique wedding invitation. A vintage pattern and a bold accent color can be beautiful and understated.

Eco-friendly touches

Just about everyone in every industry is turning a ‘green’ eye to their products and processes. You can join the fight to save the environment with your wedding invitation. Make sure you pick post consumer or recycled materials for your invitations. You can also keep your invitations simple and save on paper wherever possible.

Save the paper on your reply cards, hotel accommodations and local info by putting up a paper-free wedding website. Not only will you reduce the amount of paper you use, but your guests will have unlimited access to all the information they need.

Monograms

Monograms are making a big comeback. Stylish couples are combining initials to make a signature look that is both unique and classic. While this is a new trend, your new monogram will never go out of style. A monogram is also a subtle and romantic way to introduce yourselves as a newly married couple.

This look can be right at home even beyond your wedding invitations. Use your monogram for a handsome moniker on your reply cards, thank-you notes and everyday stationery.

Styles and trends will come and go. But if you follow a few of these simple trends your wedding invitations will have a lasting elegance that will make them a treasured keepsake.

What Is Google Hot Trends?

May 27th, 2009  |  Published in Hot Trends Articles

Unlike what was commonly accepted as the definition of hot trends that require time to develop from fad status to trend to hot trend, GOOGLE has probably single handedly changed what people think of when they hear the word "Hot Trend".

Google’s Hot Trends is a measurement of Google search trends. It is similar to Google Trends and Google Zeitgeist, except that it is updated multiple times per day. There is lots of useful data that can allow you to develop a targeted niche as well as a targeted keyword list.

The service does not measure the absolute popularity of search terms, as these don’t tend to change much over time. Instead, Hot Trends looks for terms that have rapidly gained popularity relative to their previous rank or the previous average number of times a term has been searched for on Google.

What Google’s Hot Trends and other Google services like Google Insights and Googles Check Out Trends allows us to do is; identify items of intense interest online and make determinations as to whether or not those items of interest can be quickly capitalized on using a system that will attract large amounts of traffic to a monetized blog this system allows us to deploy quickly.

Google Insight is very helpful in identifying uptrend and downtrend traffic as it develops. By finding up and coming new keywords and niches you can always stay ahead of the competition of your choice.

Google Trends - A Different Purpose Than Hot Trends
With Google Trends, you can compare the world’s interest in your favorite topics. Enter up to five topics and see how often they’ve been searched on Google over time. Google Trends also shows how frequently your topics have appeared in Google News stories and in which geographic regions people have searched for them most. (Per Google - See "Source:" below.)

Here is How Google Hot Trends Works (Source: Google)

Hot Trends reflects what people are searching for on Google today. Rather than showing the most popular searches overall, which would always be generic terms like ‘weather,’ Hot Trends highlights searches that experience sudden surges in popularity, and updates that information hourly. Our algorithm analyzes millions of web searches performed on Google and displays those searches that deviate the most from their historic traffic pattern. The algorithm also filters out spam and removes inappropriate material. For each search, Hot Trends shows related searches and a search volume graph. The page also displays news, blog posts, and web results to give context about why a search may be appearing on the Hot Trends list. You can also choose a date in the past to see what the top Hot Trends were for that date by clicking change date.

Hot Trends In Handmade Cards

May 26th, 2009  |  Published in Hot Trends Articles

Handmade cards are being hailed as one of the fast growing trends in the greeting card industry right now.

There’s some debate on what exactly constitutes a ‘handmade card’ in card circles and this category still includes "the look of a hand-assembled - yet manufactured" card.

The degree to which the handmade card has actually had mechanical manipulation is of course down to the nature of the card and its selling points. There’s no doubt though, that handmade is big business. And the more frippery, glittery and feathery you can make it - the better it is for business.

There seem to be a number of key words in the handmade category if you’re trawling around looking for inspiration. The main keyword is "embellishment". Most of us know this to mean some extra facet added to the front of the card, often giving a 3D quality. That could be anything from beads, buttons, paper, fabric to wire or metal, to name a few. That list is by no means exhaustive, and any crafter worth their salt will know just how tempting it is to add any bit of dazzling finery to their card. Often though, less is best.

What seems to be catching the public’s eye this end of 2007 are cards incorporating glued or stitched on fabric. But the front of the card is only half the story.

One of the UK’s leading card industry magazines carries regular reports on best selling products in the handmade categories. Whilst smaller independent stores often speak of cards being ’subtly sparkly’ they also mention the ‘beautiful board’ (or card stock). They talk of ‘delicate and feminine’ being in vogue too.

So, whether you’re being drawn to purchasing ‘handmade’ or creating your own handmade, if you want to be up to the mark look out for all things glittery and embellished. There’s sure to be a great range in your local stores to meet demand, and as craft retailers know, if its in demand in the card shops, then their craft buying public will want to purchase similar boards and bags of embellishments. Just take a look at the QVC shopping channel - or any one of the craft channels to check out what’s sizzling right now.

Trends continue to include a mix of materials, metal, glitz and fluff so the answer really is that anything goes.

Check out the better card shelves for ideas. See what workshops are being held locally and read magazines to get up-to-the-minute ideas for all things current. As in any market, things are always on the change but as magazines are planned up to several months in advance you’ve got comfort in knowing that trends will stay around for a little while.

Craft stores will always carry a wide selection of card embellishments and if you’re canny you’ll also include flea markets, bargain stores and charity shops in your trawl for all things that could loosely be described as ’surface decoration’. Make sure you store your favorite bits carefully so that you’ll be able to find them again when you need them. There’s nothing worse than tracking down the perfect addition to your handmade card, only to find yourself hunting feverishly for it, just when you’ve found the perfect place to use it!

Handmade cards are certainly hot news right now!

Pull apart worn out dresses for fab buttons, look at old watches with a new eye, and start to hoard interesting paper textures, fabrics and fluff. Maybe you’ve some fellow crafters who would welcome a ’swap shop’ event or a workshop where you can pool ideas and learn from each other. Craft is definitely one area where it pays to share your enthusiasm, skills and resources. You never know who might have just the perfect piece to lift your current project.

Jumble sales can be great sources of card ephemera if you look beyond what you see.

Imagine how fabric flowers may look separated into individual petals. What could you do with that feather duster? How could you make the most of those metallic service buttons? How could you weave that line of thin coated wire into your next card project? Which bits of fabric and paper could you stitch or glue together to create a new base material?

Learn to look at things from different view points and keep abreast of colors, textures and trends to make the most of your current and future projects.

The time you spend collecting and storing will never be wasted. You’re building up a supply of exciting embellishments to adorn your lovingly planned and assembled card.

Keep an eye on the markets - and you’ll always be riding the trends in handmade greeting cards.

To Profit from Powerful Trends Be Like a Cat on a Hot Tin Roof

May 26th, 2009  |  Published in Hot Trends Articles

That hot-footed cat is ready to jump as soon as its paws get too hot. You should be too. The best ways to be able to move away from a mistake about an irresistible force are to keep your commitments as low as possible for as long as possible and to have contingency plans in place.

How can your commitment to pursuing benefits from the irresistible force be kept low, without harming your opportunities?

Many people will dive headfirst into the opportunity, but you may be able to ease into the water instead and get the same benefits. This approach allows you to take advantage of important learning that will influence how well you succeed when you do eventually dive in.

For example, you may be able to rent rather than buy resources, and you may be able to outsource key activities with a short-notice cancellation clause. A small scale beginning may also be helpful in keeping your costs and chance of near-term loss low.

On the other hand, before deciding to start small, consider whether you are in a race with someone else to garner the benefits. For instance, many companies were slow to seek out URLs (addresses) on the Internet in the early days, and later could not get the addresses that were most logical for them to have because someone else got there first.

What events should happen before it makes sense for you to commit more resources?

Every new program requires certain types of success before the desired results will be achieved. For example, a new product may need to make your customer much more efficient before it will be worth purchasing. The efficiencies achieved by customers during tests could be then a trigger point to determine whether and when to make the product widely available.

Trigger points are useful tests that tell you that it is a good idea to continue with what you have been doing or to proceed on to something else. If the trigger points are never reached, no further resources are committed. Naturally, if something vastly different from what expected occurs that is worth pursuing, you can design new trigger points to deal with your new learning.

What events, should they occur, would indicate a need to steer a new course or reverse direction?

These events could relate either to your monitoring the irresistible force to indicate that its power and direction are shifting, or to the effectiveness of your own activities in this area. In the former case, you will want to amend your direction. In the latter case, you will want to revise your plan or how you are executing the existing plan.

Fashion Trends: Whats Hot for Spring

May 26th, 2009  |  Published in Hot Trends Articles

The latest looks for spring have had designers learning towards more feminine shapes and floaty fabrics, moving away from rigid lines and also moving away from the Body con look thankfully. Although there seems to be a lighter feel to the colour palette and fabric textures, there are still some trends from autumn that remain strong.

The belted waist and ladylike silhouette that were strong this winter with belted coats, has been given a new lease of life with many belted dresses being shown on the catwalks. Another way to wear your belt this spring is to team it with cropped trousers or a full volume skirt if you wish to go for the girlie look. A skinny belt would suit trousers whereas a chunkier belt would suit a wide skirt.

Monochrome colours seem to have been pushed out of fashion temporarily and have made way for neutrals. The neutral palette has been accessorised with pastel colours in one show and in another teamed with the acid brights that were seen in the autumn. Therefore it seems that this trend can be interpreted in many ways, so pick a look to match your taste and current wardrobe staples.

Another major trend for spring/summer 2008 is florals. The floral trend has seen abstract patterns to full on blooms on short and longer dresses, this look being all about a feminine and fresh style. If this look is too ladylike for you it can be toughened up with a denim jacket or a chunky boot.

A look that was very popular over the winter period was the high waisted and wide legged trouser. This trend is still going strong but with a new twist for spring with a lighter colour scheme and lower waist. Avoid black and select a beige pair instead, although the wide leg is still strong the ultra high waist that we saw over winter is now lower, so the style is more wearable.

Although many a celebrity bought into the oversized bag trend, most of us mere mortals noticed the potential for injury and stayed well away. Breathing a sigh of relief the smaller clutch bag is back in for spring, with the bag again being more of an accessory to an overall outfit. It is not necessary to coordinate your clutch to your footwear, picking an accent colour from your outfit may make your look.

Although neutral colours were the main attraction at many a catwalk show, there are some major colour themes working there way in. Two of the brightest shades for summer are royal blue and purple, with purple being teamed with all shades of pink to create a bold statement. This look can be interpreted with more wearable shades of lilac with a flower pattern, killing two looks with one outfit.

Back on the catwalk fashion radar for spring is denim, in every shade and style. For most of us denim never goes out of fashion, however with many designers taking a fresh look at the material, this means there should be more choice than ever filtering down onto the high street.

Try to avoid dressing in denim from head to toe and also steer clear of mixing your denim washes and colours. You could team your denim with the neutral trend, perhaps with a tailored jacket or maybe mix a denim skirt with a floaty shirt. This spring there are many fashion trends to try, the catwalk looks are clean and a breath of fresh air.

Where to Find Hot Fashion Trends

May 25th, 2009  |  Published in Hot Trends Articles

The fashion world is highly fickle. There is an extremely fine line between wearing clothing that is so trendy that it will be out of style in a week and finding a nice, modern look that will be around for at least a few years or so. While the world of mens fashion does indeed change little by little, it is nowhere near as erratic as the world of womens fashion. In fact, if a girl is to stay on top of the fashion world week after week, she may end up spending thousands of dollars in clothes each and every month. So, no matter if you are a guy or a girl, in order to stay on top of the hottest movements without allowing your clothing to look dated or too trendy, you will want to consult every resource you possibly can to figure out what will look best on you. Currently, the best resources out there appear in three branches of media the Internet, the television and printed books and magazines.

If you do not want to end up like one of the bad dressers on a show like What Not to Wear, then you will want to make sure that you constantly keep up with the current fashion . The Internet will provide you with a valuable tool to keep you up to date with the latest fashion trends by showing you hot looks that are for sale in department stores around the country as well as hundreds of pictures of models and movie stars with their daily wardrobes. From these resources for fashion trends, you can easily make up your own mind about what you think you would look good in and what will obviously be out of style in the coming months.

Television functions much like the internet when it comes to fashion trends. Unless you live in Los Angeles or New York, chances are that you are completely out of the loop when it comes to the most stylish fashion trends. Year after year, LA and NY set many of the most interesting fashion trends thanks to the celebrities, designers and generally wealthy people that live in these cities. Whenever you turn your television to a show that takes place in one of these hip cities, you can easily check out what the stars are wearing.

Finally, you can use print media to determine which fashion trends are right for you. Celebrity magazines, fashion magazines and even catalogues from clothing stores are all valuable if you are looking for the freshest fashion trends on the market. However, magazines have a tendency to focus on clothing that is out of most peoples price range, so be sure to take a magazines recommendation on fashion trends with a grain of salt.

Now there is a gallery of powerful information yours for the taking. Decide now to look good and improve the quality of your life. Click here: http://www.fashiontrends.wjujr.com/

Beyond Jeans — Grab The Hot Denim Trends This Fall

May 25th, 2009  |  Published in Hot Trends Articles

Hard to believe that it’s only July and we’re already talking about fall clothing lines. As many of you fashionistas know though, many designers have already started rolling our their winter lines. I, for one, can’t stand the thought of talking about sweaters and tights quite yet, so we’ll ease in to it with a happy medium; denim.

Some top, high-end designers like Kippys, Pierce Jeans, and REOSTARR are flooding the market with their denim wares already, and whether it be jeans, jackets, or purses, it’s denim all the way. Some are even doing a throwback to the 80s and rocking out with rhinestones.

Kippys specializes in denim, leather and fur. Again, I have a hard time imagining leather or fur when it’s a sweltering 90 degrees outside, but I can stomach denim; plus the awesome belts that go with it. In addition, Hollywood thinks Kippys is pretty hot too; just ask Elizabeth Hurley and Madonna, both of whom have sported their belts.

Rhinestone roses, hearts and celtic chains run across the pockets and legs of some of their jeans. Their belts come in a variety of widths from 1/2 inch wide to 4 1/4 inches wide and are embellished like no others. With crystal colors like Padparadscha, Heliotrope, and Volcano, who can resist this clothing line?

Another hot denim designer, Pierce Jeans, is rocking the simple and sophisticated look that only denim can bring to the casual girl. Carrying denim in dark, dark blues to upbeat reds, Pierce has it all covered. Their fall line includes both the revised, higher waisted jean with the slimming leg as well as the trouser jean that has become so popular. Featured in hot fashion magazines as well as being worn by the likes of Teri Hatcher and Eva Mendez, Pierce Jeans has secured themselves in the hearts of hot Hollywood fashion icons.

REOSTARR is taking another avenue and meeting those with simple and those with rhinestones half way. If their denim isn’t plain, it has patches and strategically placed holes. Of course, no pair would be complete without their signature star on their pockets. Whatever they do, Hollywood loves them too! Natalia Livingston was seen wearing them at the "Into the West" premier and have been seen in magazines from Lucky to People.

All across the land, denim is loved by many. These are just a few examples of what some of the high-end denim designers are doing this year and I’m sure that other designers, like Lucky, Levi, and Seven will be sure to follow. While you’re out picking up new notebooks and pencils, whether it be for yourself or your kids, pick up a pair of these great jeans and you’ll definitely be on top of one of fall’s hottest denim trends.

How to Identify Hot Stock Market Trends So You Can Benefit From Them

May 25th, 2009  |  Published in Hot Trends Articles

People who are part of the stock market and investing are always talking about how they could really use a psychic to help them pick stocks. Picking stocks is one of the most time consuming and grueling parts of being an investor or stockbroker. Most of their days are spent trying to predict the outcome of future days with the market.

Many people do not believe that investing is just about guessing what a stock will do. To most people investing is about watching the market and paying attention to each and every move. By paying attention to all aspects of the market it is possible to reap the biggest rewards possible.

Usually the stock market and individual stocks will move together. When a stock is steadily growing it is usually during a time when the market is growing and this is called a bull market. When a stock is declining the market may also be declining and this is called a bear market. Of course the market will have its ups and downs but the average trend will flow either up or down.

In order to determine what direction the market is going it is necessary to have two pieces of information; price and volume. You will need to have the prices of the trend of prices of stocks. The volume is the number of stocks that are currently being traded.

How to Determine Price

In order to determine price stockbrokers and investors will look at three major indicators that include: The Dow, S&P 500 and NASDAQ. Investors are helped by looking at these indicators and will analyze them to try and determine if the market trend is going up or down.

How to Determine Volume

Volume is easy to figure you by simply looking at the daily sales from the markets. Most stock websites and financial companies will have the daily sales volume numbers easily available to anyone whom requests them.

A high volume day is when both the prices and volume are up. During these bull times many investors feel most comfortable purchasing a new stock. On the other hand, when the market has low prices but there is a high volume, it can signal a time of potential trouble, because larger investors are pulling their money out of the market.

When the market is experiencing many down days there could be a reversal of the market or at the very least a stall. Because large firms and institutions are buying and selling so often, they can actually control the market and its movement.

By watching for changes in the market you can be ready for any potential market changes that may effect your earnings.
